AquaCtrl watches two tanks at once, runs your pumps only when needed, and lets you monitor everything from your phone — anywhere in the house.
A single controller that replaces guesswork with automation. Works with any tank, any pump, and any budget.
Float switch for one tank and ultrasonic sensor for another — both running at the same time, independently.
Watch water levels live from your phone, switch modes, force pumps, and change tank sizes — no wiring changes needed.
Let the controller decide when to pump — or take over with a single tap when you want full control.
Built-in hysteresis, fan cooling, fault detection, and level-based shutdown prevent overflow and dry-run damage.
AquaCtrl is a compact, microcontroller-based water management device that automatically controls up to two water pumps based on real-time tank levels. It combines a traditional float switch with a non-contact ultrasonic sensor, giving you the flexibility to monitor two different tanks simultaneously.
The float switch detects high/low water via a mechanical contact. The ultrasonic sensor measures distance to the water surface in centimetres.
The microcontroller converts readings into a water percentage (based on your chosen tank size) and decides whether to turn the pump ON or OFF.
The relay switches the pump's mains supply safely, protecting the low-voltage electronics from high-current loads.
The onboard Bluetooth module streams status to your phone in real time and receives commands from the app.
ATmega16U4 running at 8 MHz — plenty of I/O, ADC channels for analog sensors, and a built-in USB interface for firmware updates.
KT6368A BLE 5.0 module on UART at 115200 baud. Bridges the controller to the AquaCtrl mobile app over a secure paired link.
Float switch (NO + NC contacts) and HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. Analog filtering with pull-downs and capacitors removes noise.
Two relays rated for mains pump loads, plus a small cooling fan driven by temperature sensor readings.
A TMP35 sensor monitors the enclosure temperature. If it exceeds 45 °C, the fan kicks in automatically.
Input: 7–12 V DC via jack or AC adapter. Regulated 5 V rail for the MCU and sensors using an LM1117DT.
